From Educators to Grandparents
Built on Love
At Chez Mummum & Opa, our story is one of family, education, and love. It begins with Anne Sirois-Niesing (Mummum) and Daniel Niesing (Opa), proud parents of three accomplished daughters and devoted grandparents to five—soon to be six—grandchildren.
With nearly 30 years of individual experience in education—from daycare to Grade 8, as well as in educational sales across Canada —Anne and Daniel recognized a crucial need. Inspired by their experiences raising their own children and now supporting their grandchildren, their vision is to support today's busy parents, grandparents, friends, and families. They firmly believe that parents and grandparents are the first and most important teachers in a child's life.
This boutique is the realization of that belief: a carefully curated collection designed to foster learning, comfort, and joy in every home.
